Huge congratulations – under the guidance of Thomas Steele and Leanne Pecarski, CIC Robotics Team (9062) emerged as winners of the Ontario Rookie All Stars at the Provincial finals! As a result of this impressive win, the team has qualified for the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas, April 19-22, 2023!
It is a great honor to be participating in such a prestigious event, and we couldn’t be more proud of our team. This is a marvelous achievement that reflects the incredible hard work and dedication of the entire team.
We would like to acknowledge the countless hours that Thomas and Leanne have invested in coaching, mentoring, and building the team. Their unwavering commitment has played a crucial role in the team’s success, and we owe them a genuine and heartfelt thank you.
The students of Team 9062 have devoted an enormous amount of time and effort to this competition season, and their hard work and genuine care for the robotics program have truly paid off. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments, and we look forward to more successes in the future.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to all the staff who dropped by to cheer our team on over the past three weekends. Your support and encouragement have been invaluable to the team, and we appreciate it more than words can say.
