Congratulations to Ekele Eleaugu, one of our outstanding CIC students, who has earned $588,101 CAD in scholarship offers from top universities, an incredible achievement that reflects both academic excellence and well-rounded leadership.

Ekele credits her success to a powerful mindset: never being afraid to ask for help. By actively asking questions in class, attending tutoring sessions, and studying with friends, she strengthened both her understanding and confidence. At CIC, she benefited from strong academic support from teachers and residence tutors, while also taking full advantage of opportunities for leadership, community service, and personal growth.

Beyond the classroom, Ekele has been deeply involved in the CIC community, participating in the Girls Varsity Soccer Team, Service Prefects Team, HOSA Club, and the Residence Leaders Committee, while contributing to meaningful initiatives such as the 30-Hour Famine and the Road2Hope Marathon. These experiences allowed her to demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and commitment, qualities that helped her stand out to university admissions teams.

Through discipline, organization, and balance, including staying on top of her studies, managing her time effectively, and prioritizing her well-being, Ekele has shown what it means to strive for excellence both academically and personally.
