Our Stepped-up Safety protocols were implemented earlier in 2020, at a higher standard and before it was imposed by the public health authorities. As the pandemic evolves, the protocols get reviewed and updated by CIC’s Safe School Committee on a regular basis.
Some of the protocols currently in place at CIC:
- 21–day Quarantine in a designated Residence building for new and returning students
- Daily Survey & Health Screening for all Staff, Students and Bus Drivers
- Double Protective Equipment for all staff and students
- Medical grade mask
- Face shield
- Frequent deep cleaning of all areas, especially high-touch surfaces
- Highly effective and safe disinfectants are sprayed with a fogging device in all classrooms, residences, and buses daily
- Banning non-essential visitors
