During the Thanksgiving Long Weekend, a group of students travelled to Algonquin Provincial Park to complete a portion of their Silver Level Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. They completed a 60 km circuit of lakes and forest trails, cooking for themselves over a fire and sleeping in tents.

These students challenged themselves physically, and were able to get into nature, away from the distractions of modern technology. The spirit of adventure and collaboration was rediscovered in this section of the Duke of Ed Award. Congratulations to the team!
